KAMG in the community

KAMG is a registered charity (number 1060837) and, as well as fulfilling its primary role as a motorcycle training organisation, its members also regularly carry out other work in the community.

For many years the group has made Christmas and Easter trips to Parkwood Hall – a school for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties ‒ to give presents or Easter eggs as well as hugely popular pillion rides in the grounds to the children.

In recent years, KAMG has also made visits to Demelza House children’s hospice near Sittingbourne, presenting a cheque for £512.  The group also raises money for the Air Ambulance and SERV (Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers) who transport vital emergency NHS supplies, and for whom some KAMG members are active riders.
